The Botfly band (the original 90’s band from Michigan). Seen these guys dozens of times, they were great. This is the only place that I’ve found with anything about them. Another band (not nearly as good) has since taken up the name, they are the only one by that name found elsewhere on the web (youtube etc.).

fletchwazzle: These pics are some of the reasons why I only surf spaceghetto with a wheel mouse and why I scroll so quickly. Now there I’m able to pause my scroll, and save image off the bottom of the pic at the top of the screen and only glimpse it briefly, before it appears again in a dramatic fashion in a slideshow. I will do my best to keep these out of my dashboard and apologize for however many find their way to my feed (I can’t say no).

The photo at top is the most-viewed image in the world, the “Bliss” wallpaper that came with Windows XP.  The photo at bottom is what the same spot looks like today.

Uh yeah, now it’s possible that it hadn’t been receiving enough rainfall, but it looks more like a different time of year (harvested crop looks plenty different throughout it’s cycle). If the only farm that you’ve ever seen is on Facebook, well…don’t be sad for this field.
fletchwazzle: Definitely Weasels Ripped My Flesh in his hand, the first Frank Zappa album I bought (chosen over the others on the strength of its album art, in a world before the interweb or tumblr). Looks like a seen from Daria for sure, a show that has aged well I think.

Jon Spencer Blues Explosion feat. Beck and Mike D “Flavor” 1995

Including a nice homage to the Run DMC/Aerosmith “Walk This Way” video, with a Beck/JSBX showdown.

I didn’t have cable most of the time or a VCR recording the only time videos were shown, so the interweb is where I first saw eventually saw these guys (later live). But I remember a girlfriend at the time hung out with some cool older kid one day, and the next time we hung out she suggested I grab their album, as jealous as I was she was right, their great & I have all their albums and almost everything that any of them have ever been involved in (still need another 20 miles, a Boss Hogg record and that’s about it). Thanks again equestrian-forehead-wiper-girl, and R.I.P. the boy that introduced her to JSBX.

fletchwazzle: Well I’m not sure exactly even how I got there now, it was probably following an animated gif, trying to find more of the lovely lady. But on this day (a few days ago) I came upon the LovelyKittie at MyFreeCams, joining into a live chat feed of a then still clothed hottie. Having not rocked the ChatRoulette or spent much time on webcams before (I’ve seen the Skype work, and have chatted with Playstation Eyes on my PS3), I was amazed at how well it worked as far as it was a live stream. There were enthusiastic fans in the chat encouraging her, and there is some token mechanic. From what I gathered in my brief research later a token translated to $.10 and of that she might see $.05 but there were thousands of tokens flying in her quite long, explicit, show. I am too lazy to track down the great gifs that I’ve seen of her before (she’s flexible), but I believe in this blogs brief life she has been featured already (a spinning leg in the air gif being the one that rings a bell). I just ran across this pic on my tumblr dashboard and it reminded me of the banner of that show that I had seen (never having heard about “no panty day” before, but great idea who’s time has come I suppose), it was highly memorable, and I’d like to believe that it was as obnoxiously profitable a show for her as it appeared, because it was entertaining veiwing. She is a hottie (and her English is hilariously awful/cute).

fletchwazzle: This game, Tetrisphere, on my projector, was my favorite for years. Versus mode was like the best fighting game out in my book (up until this latest Mortal Kombat which is dope). I still play this occasionally with my boy Hankus who has the N64 rocking in his garage.
